How long does the process take?
This will vary, depending on how complex your requirements are.
Does your service cover everything from beginning to completion?
Yes, it does. I will start the process by finding out what you want. Then I will create your design. To finish, I will provide you with the printed invitations.
How do you make designs personal?
That’s any easy one: I design WHAT YOU WANT! :)
What if I just want the digital copies to print them myself?
I am more than happy to pass any print-ready designs onto you or your preferred printer. Note that this will bring the costs down, as I will not be charging you for printing the final invitations.
Is there a consultation fee?
Not at all. My 1-hour consultations are free of charge. They serve the purpose of getting to know the both of you a little bit better and help me to get an idea of your requirements.
What should I bring with me to the consultation?
If you have any colour swatches, ideas, magazine clippings, a Pinterest account or any other useful prompting aids that you wish to bring, feel free to do so. But don’t worry if you don’t have any of these things – your Stationary Fairy God Mother is at your service.
What happens during the consultation?
This is my favourite part: we will get a chance to meet and to get to know each other a little bit better. I believe that it is important to establish a personal relationship with my clients, after all I might be a part of your magical journey.
Together, we will go through the form you filled out prior to the consultation (sent to you via email after you book a consultation). This form will give me a little insight into your personalities, the style of your wedding, your likes and dislikes and what kind of designs you prefer. Everyone is different – that’s what I find so exciting about every single one of my projects!
Then you will get a chance to show me anything you may have brought with you, anything that you think will give me a better idea of what you're after. Following that, I will show you a few samples of previous invitations. I will explain to you the process I went through to create them, what problems I encountered and how I resolved them.
After looking at the samples and the chit-chat, I will in detail explain the design and production process to you. I will set dates and draft a timetable to show you when you are likely to receive your final printed invitations. This will give you a clearer understanding of how long each process takes and when you can expect your order to be completed. Please note that any dates are just an estimate and subject to any changes made throughout the design process.
When will I receive my quote?
As you know, I offer a completely bespoke service. Therefore please note that initially you will not receive an exact quote. One week after the consultation I will provide you with an average quote for the design that we discussed in the meeting. You can then decide if you're happy with it and whether you’d like me to be part of your magical journey.
In 8 out of 10 cases, couples ask for changes to the complexity of their designs during the designing process which are likely to affect the final costs of your order. Therefore, I will be able to provide you with a more accurate quote once the final design is in place.
